So two days ago, as my roommate and i were driving down our back alley we saw sitting by the dumpster a fancy looking couch. The fabric was red (velvet possibly?) and the structural curvature reminded me of a psychiatrist's couch. I tried to find a picture of something that might resemble it, but this was the only image i could find that came close:
...
if this was the couch i had seen, i would of had to take it.
but that's the general shape of the couch, with red instead of the tie dye and there wasn't that wave, or Elvis's hairdo swirl in the middle either. A bit more reserved, yet classy. Anyway, we gawked at it as we passed but left it where it lay. About an hour ago while i was on the computer and hanging out with Tuck i noticed him awkwardly half-sitting on the tiny chair by the window he likes to look out. Beside the chair, because Tuck is a 65lb American Pit, is an old tv for his front legs to rest on. So he starts lightly growling at something he sees outside, or his reflection, or whatever it is he sees, and i start to notice how funny he looks there. He's bigger than the chair. So that got me thinking about the couch I'd seen in the alley. It would have been perfect in the sunroom, the room all three of us have agreed has so much potential but currently it's the bike repair/junk room. With that couch the dog could of had plenty of laying room and three, count'em, three windows to look out of!
I ran down as soon as i thought of this to see if the couch was there still. It wasn't. Damnit.
